Praised for the beauty of his interpretations, Massimiliano Frani has been a regular soloist in numerous music festivals and concert series, including the Bachauer International Festival; the Puccini International; Salt Lake’s Mostly Mozart; Park City, Utah’s, International Chamber Music Festival; and the Temple Square Concert Series.
Massimiliano Frani studied with Professor Vincenzo Pertile at the Venice Conservatory of Music in Italy and with Dr. Paul Pollei at Brigham Young University in the U.S. During the course of his studies, he captured numerous prizes at national and international competitions. Currently a member of the American Piano Quartet, Mr. Frani is an enthusiastic and captivating recitalist and has collaborated with ensembles such as the Klavierquartet Italiano, and the Barrus Piano Trio.
Massimiliano Frani’s frequent concert engagements have been accompanied by radio and television recordings in the United States, Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, and Hungary. His solo recording of the Chopin Polonaises for the Bachauer Recording Series received glowing reviews. Committed to music education, Mr. Frani has served as piano instructor at Brigham Young University and at Tuachan Center for the Arts and has presented seminars and master classes in several countries.
